With a deep background in both incident response and strategic defence planning, Yoichi plays a key role in orchestrating simulations, auditing threat detection pipelines, and evolving the way our teams operate under pressure.
Based on years of experience within SOC environments and field-tested analysis, Yoichi is known for turning complex systems into practical routines — ensuring that people, tools, and protocols are aligned before the alert sounds.
From analyst to operations lead: structured growth across every tier
Yoichi’s journey with Cyber Protocol began as a Security Analyst, conducting penetration tests and keeping critical systems under regular review.
He then advanced to Senior SOC Analyst, where he led investigations, worked closely with external threat intel partners, and fine-tuned alerting models for accuracy and context.
Now as Security Manager, he oversees:
- Internal defence workflows
- Threat simulation exercises
- Monitoring system audits
- Staff readiness planning
- Incident triage policy design

Yoichi holds an M.S. in Cybersecurity and a B.Sc. in Information Technology, and operates fluently in Japanese — adding regional depth to our Asia-focused operations and bridging global collaboration across cultures.
